Publishing services
Take one stage, or the whole sequence
Eleven services covering everything between a finished draft and a book on sale. Most authors need three or four, and we will tell you which, rather than selling you a bundle.
Editorial
Getting the writing right
Everything that happens to the text before anyone thinks about design. Editing is layered, and doing it in the right order is what keeps costs sensible.
Professional Editing
Editing is where most manuscripts become books. We start with an assessment, then recommend the level of editing your draft genuinely requires.
Request an Editorial AssessmentProofreading
A last, careful read of the typeset pages to catch what earlier stages missed, with Australian English applied consistently throughout.
Request a Proofreading QuoteGhostwriting
For authors with a story, an expertise or a body of experience, but not the time or the writing background to shape it into a manuscript.
Discuss Your Book IdeaFiction Ghostwriting
A collaborative process for novelists who have the premise and the characters but want an experienced writer to help build the book.
Discuss Your NovelDesign and production
Turning a manuscript into an object
The stages where a document becomes a book: a cover that signals its genre, an interior that is comfortable to read, and files that print and display correctly.
Book Cover Design
Your cover is the first thing a reader judges. We design for the shelf and the search result, then supply every file your printer and platform need.
Discuss Your Book CoverBook Formatting
Typesetting that makes a book comfortable to read: considered margins, chapter openings, running heads and front matter that meets convention.
Request a Formatting QuoteBook Printing
From trim size and paper stock to cover finish, we prepare production-ready files and help you choose a printing route that suits your run size.

Audio is a growing format for Australian readers. We handle script preparation, narration and the technical standards distributors require.

Getting it in front of readers
Setting the book up for sale properly, then improving how findable and how convincing it is once a reader arrives.
Book Publishing
We take a finished manuscript through every stage required to become a properly published book, and set it up for sale in print and digital formats.

Practical promotional work focused on reader discovery: a sharper listing, a clearer position, and assets you can keep using after launch.

Retail listings come and go. An author website is the one platform you control, and the place media, event organisers and readers look first.

Not sure which of these you actually need?
Most authors overestimate what they need in one area and underestimate it in another. A short assessment settles it.
My manuscript is finished and I want it published
Start with an editorial assessment. It tells you what level of editing the draft needs, and from there the sequence is usually editing, cover, interior, then publishing setup. Our full book publishing service covers all of it as one project.
I have already been edited and just need production
You likely need cover design and formatting, then publishing setup. Send us your edited file and the editorial style sheet if you have one.
My book is already published but not selling
That is almost always a positioning, cover or listing problem rather than a writing problem. Book marketing starts by looking at all three honestly.
I have an idea but no manuscript
Ghostwriting for non-fiction and memoir, or fiction ghostwriting for a novel. Both begin with a conversation about what the book is meant to do.
I only want one specific thing done
That is completely fine. Every service is available on its own, quoted separately, with no minimum bundle.
Pricing
Every quote is built on your manuscript
We do not publish a fixed price list, because a fixed list either overcharges short books or underquotes complex ones. Cost depends on word count, the condition of the draft, design complexity, the formats you want and which services you take.
